New Zealand's foreign minister will travel to Cook Islands this week for a range of meetings, including with Prime Minister Henry Puna.
Murray McCully said his meeting with Mr Puna and his cabinet will cover a range of matters including support for the Cooks' tourism sector.
He will also hear from representatives about opportunities for economic development in the outer islands.
Mr McCully said he will also meet with members of the opposition, business leaders and the Cook Islands Tourism Board.
