Authorities in Fiji say the number of cases of dengue fever continues to rise, with 155 cases already confirmed.

The National Advisor for Communicable Diseases, Mike Kama, told the FBC there were cases across the country, but the rate was particularly high in the central and western divisions.

Dr Kama said anyone showing symptoms of dengue fever, such as red eyes, fever and nausea, should seek medical help immediately.
