Tonga campaign aims to empower transgender students

Tonga's Leiti Association has kicked off a campaign in the country's schools to try and reduce the bullying of transgender students.

The organiser of the outreach programme, Leilani Fainga'a, told Radio Tonga that the campaign aimed to empower transgender talents.

Ms Fainga'a has urged students to work together to fight violence in schools, and for students to accept transgender people for who they are.
