Papua New Guinea have a chance to draw level at the top of the World Cricket League Championship this weekend.
The Barramundis play the United Arab Emirates today in the first of three one day internationals in Dubai, the first two being part of the World Cricket League.
The Netherlands top the standings with 16 points from 10 games.
PNG are four points back with two games in hand and can join the Dutch in first place with victories today and Sunday.

Barramundis captain Assad Vala said they wanted to continue their recent momentum in the limited overs.
"So we're second at the moment. We know the two big games coming up for us in the World Cricket League," he said.
"Two away games, really big possibility if we can get some good results there we can put a lot of focus on the other teams because we lost our first two games and we've come back, bounced back and won six in a row.
"So we've put ourselves second but in the one-day we won't take it lightly, we just want to win every game we play."

PNG were beaten by five wickets in their final warm-up against English county side Yorkshire on Wednesday.
Lega Siaka top scored with 25 as the Barramundis were bowled out for only 136 runs against a Yorkshire attack featuring English test player Tim Bresnan.
In reply, the county side chased down their target with five wickets to spare.
The teams agreed to play of to give PNG's bowlers and the Yorkshire batsmen more time in the middle, with Yorkshire reaching 244 for 7 off 45 overs.
Norman Vanua (2/36) and Alei Nao (2/38) took two wickets piece for the Barramundis.
PNG were also beaten by two wickets in one-day match against UAE 'A' on Monday.
The Barramundis will also play a four-day Inter-Continental Cup clash and three Twenty20 Internationals during their month-long tour.
