The countries' governments have been holding air service negotiations in Suva.

They've agreed on an additional 500 seats per week per country meaning an extra 1000 seats on flights per week.

They've also agreed to double freight capacity from 70 to 140 tonnes per week, to update their air services agreement and to hold further talks on more flexible code sharing arrangements.
