Tonga swears in two new cabinet ministers

The Tonga government has sworn in two new cabinet ministers.

Tongatapu No 4 MP Mateni Tapueluelu has been sworn in as the new minister of police, while Tevita Lavemaau replaces 'Aisake Eke who was sacked as the minister of Finance and national planning in March.

The former minister of labour and commerce and police minister Pōhiva Tu'i'onetoa is now become the minister of inland revenue.

Mr Tapueluelu is the son in law of prime minister "Aklisi Pohiva.
