Sport: American football clinics in American Samoa

Two days of clinics for high school American football coaches will be held in American Samoa this week, featuring two well-known coaches from Washington State University.

American Samoa Department of Education athletic program director Tumua Matu'u said several football coaches will arrive in Pago Pago on Monday local time, including Michael Leach and June Jones from Washington State.

Matu'u said majority of the coaches will head to Samoa next week Tuesday while Leach and Jones will remain in Pago Pago until Friday, when the pair returns to the US.

Among the activities in Pago Pago are two days of football coaches clinics for high school football coaches set for June 14 and June 15.

Matu'u said all local coaches are invited to attend the clinics as well as meeting one-on-one with Leach and Jones if they wish to discuss other matters.
