A student from Tuvalu and his girlfiiend from Kiribati have been killed in a fire in Taiwan.
Taiwanese media report the fire was on the fourth floor of their Taipeh apartment building last week.
Reports say the couple had been renting what authorities call an 'unauthorised rooftop add-on,' thousands of which are available for rent in Taipeh.
Alimau Logo Susga, a business scholarship student from Tuvalu, was studying at Ming Chuan University.
Logo played rugby for the Taipeh Baboons and another club member says he will be greatly missed.
Logo and his girldfriend, Maibo Iuta, died at the scene.
