PNG coffee benefits from World Bank scheme

Papua New Guinea coffee buyers and farmers are reaping the rewards of a coffee improvement project funded by the World Bank.

The Productive Partnership In Agriculture Project aims to improve the livelihoods of smallholder cocoa and coffee producers.

The project is expected to increase poor farmers' incomes and improve their livelihoods.

It should also improve market connectivity, co-ordination, and access in areas where there are higher than average poverty rates.
