Two remain at large and police are advising the public not to approach them as they are considered dangerous.

Included in the group that escaped is Lauititi Tualima who on an earlier escape from Tafaigata had raped an Australian tourist after tying up her and her fiance.

The two prisoners who are still at large are Aniseko Vaelei and Uili Manuleleua.

Recaptured with Tualima was Vaioa Solia.

In a public notice about the prison escape the Samoa Prison Services said the public's safety is their priority at this time of the year and the police are working around the clock to catch these criminals.
