A Niue MP says having the island's public service work just four days a week, but be paid for five, is impacting on services.
Terry Coe uses the example of a court case he brought challenging a company planning to export water from Niue.

Mr Coe was still waiting on a ruling on the case five weeks after the hearing because the judge was yet to be sent a transcript.
The court registrar had said this delay was due to a lack of staff.
Mr Coe said this was not uncommon across the Niue public service these days.
"That we haven't got the people to do the work, especially when getting paid for five days and working four days. And this is a prime example where we need to be working the five days and getting the work done, so that the court cases can be decided by the judge." said Terry Coe.
Mr Coe had challenged the company wanting to export water over it labelling the product 100 percent pure artesian water when he said it needed to be filtered.
He also wanted the water to be tested before it left the country.
Mr Coe said concerns he raised about false advertising were dismissed by the judge during the hearing.
