A priest has appeared in court in Fiji charged with harbouring an escaped prisoner.
FBC News reports 40 year old Yogesh Prasad was one of two men who appeared in the Nadi Magistrates Court for their alleged involvement in assisting Deshwar Dinesh Dutt.
45 year old Avinesh Singh has been charged with one count of harbouring an escaped prisoner.
Mr Singh who owns a rental car business allegedly transported Dutt.
The pair have been remanded in custody.
