It's currently only available in English, not in Pohnpeian.

The 2008 law states the importance of education about HIV, but the director, Kapilly Capelle, says those living with the virus still experience discrimination.

Mr Capelle said translating the law could end the stigma.

"We need to translate it into our own language, so they understand that this disease is not contagious like flu or when you're next to a HIV person, you're infected.

"Those kind of information many people don't understand, so when they understand more about the disease itself, that will also help people understand that there is no reason to discriminate against these people."
