Cyclones Josie and Keni cost Fiji $US3 million

Fiji's north suffered a damage bill of more than $US3 million during the twin cyclones which hit last month.

FBC News reported the sugar industry suffered the most with damage to farms and the Labasa sugar mill amounting to about $US1.2 m

Cyclones Josie and Keni struck in quick succession causing about one million dollars worth of damage to agriculture and $US700,000 damage to roads and other infrastructure in Fiji's Northern Division.

Two schools were damaged.
