PNG face Bangladesh on Sunday in their tournament opener, fresh off a mixed warm-up campaign where they lost two games won two.

The United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands complete their pool play, and coach Rarua Dikana said they probably need to win at least two games to make the semifinals.

Dikana said the Lewas will take no team lightly.

"We know it's going to be a bigger challenge against Bangladesh, who have just recently been crowned Asia champions - beating fancied teams like India - so we know that the challenge ahead is going to be tight for us," she said.

"We will just take one step at a time and make sure we follow our processes well, do the little things right and...the results will take care of themselves."

The top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi finals, with the two finalists qualifying for the T20 World Cup in the West Indies later this year.
