Two people died and three homes were burnt down during tribal fighting in the Papua New Guinea capital Port Moresby on Saturday.

The Post Courier reported the police saying more than 100 men, originally from Goroka in Eastern Highlands and Wabag in Enga, living in the Morata area of the city, were fighting over a parcel of land.
The fighting had reportedly been been happening over two weeks.
On Saturday, three houses were burnt down and police confiscated one of six guns used in the fighting.
The National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop was reportedly furious.
Mr Parkpop said Papua New Guineans continued to shoot themselves in the foot.
He was absolutely disgusted by the senseless killings and destruction by people who continued to hold the country back, he said.
