The Papua New Guinea men's cricket team easily defeated Hong Kong 'A' by 139 runs in their opening West Pacific Cup T20 clash on Tuesday.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the tourists posted an imposing 214 for 3 from their 20 overs.
Openers Tony Ura (32) and Asad Vala (39) got the innings off to a fast start before Lega Siaka (37*) and Sese Bau (69* of 27 balls) combined for an unbeaten 112-run stand to take the total beyond 200.

Nusrullah Rana was the pick of the Hong Kong 'A' bowlers, taking 2 for 41 off his four overs.
In reply Jason Kila (3 for 11) and Charles Amini Junior (3 for 13) had the Hong Kong A batsmen in a spin.
The home side lost regular wickets and were eventually dismissed for just 75 runs in 16.3 overs.
Earlier in the day, the Hong Kong senior team defeated Hong Kong A by 87 runs.
The West Pacific Cup continues on Wednesday with Papua New Guinea up against Hong Kong 'A' in the morning before backing up against Hong Kong in the afternoon.
The three teams will play each other twice, with the top two sides advancing to Friday's grand final.
