The MP Dickson Mua was earlier this month arrested and charged for misusing a shipping grant.

Police Commissioner Matthew Varley has now confirmed 10 other investigations, on top of other cases before the courts.

The Solomon Star reports he has ruled out any mass arrest of MPs.

Mr Varley added that the force has spent the past year developing a new system for dealing with corruption complaints, as there were many cases that had gone unresolved for years.
