Solomons police clear bombs from Hell's Point

The police in Solomon Islands are warning fishermen, farmers and hunters to stay away from Hell's Point while unexploded world war two bombs are detonated.

Inspector Clifford Tunuki said people in the Henderson area, Alligator Creek and Tenaru School should keep out of Hell's Point while the operation is in progress.

He said the Air Traffic Control Tower at the Honiara Airport will co-ordinate each detonation.
