Solomons police to arrest voters registered multiple times

Solomon Islands police are preparing to arrest people who registered to vote multiple times in next year's elections.

The Solomon Business Magazine reported police were finalising a list on Thursday of people who would be charged with defrauding the election process.

One voter had registered 10 times.

Mose Saitala, chief executive of the electoral commission, said the arrests would be a lesson for others.
