She said Fiji achieved record earnings of US$892-million in 2018.

The Minister said she would like to keep the industry on track to exceed US$1 billion in line with the Fiji Tourism 2021 plan.

Premila Kumar said Tourism Fiji had set an ambitious programme of events and activities for 2019 to help achieve this.
