A Papua New Guinea government minister says there should be no forgiveness for disciplinary officers who went on a rampage on parliament.

Following last November's APEC leaders meeting, dozens of police and corrections officers stormed and vandalised the parliament building, demanding payment for work during the summit.
A police investigation is underway into the rampage, but parliament's speaker, Job Pomat, has called for it to be called off in the spirit of forgiveness.
However Justin Tkatchenko, who was in charge of hosting APEC, said what the disciplinary forces did was "a total disgrace".
"The law needs to take its course. Those people that physically damaged and disgraced the house of parliament, we can't allow our so-called disciplinary forces to take the law into their own hands. It just sets a very, very bad precedent.
"We don't forgive those that purposely go out for their own greed and self-gain to damage our country's reputation and our house of parliament."
