Samoa's Public Service Commission has charged two senior officials with charges ranging from misuse and abuse of public assets to the theft of more than$US100,000.

The Samoa Observer reported the officials are high-ranking members of the justice ministry and courts administration.
The Commission said the pair's separate actions had brought the ministry into disrepute.
