Australia helps Fiji prepare for COP23 hosting role

Australia's Ambassador for the Environment says his country is working with Fiji to help support it with the presidency of the next round of the United Nations international climate change talks, known as COP23.

Patrick Suckling has been in New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa and Tuvalu to discuss Australia's climate change policy and aid for the Pacific Islands.

He tells Kate Gudsell that there is no bigger challenge than climate change for the region.
