New Zealand has developed a new mobile, high-tech, tent hospital to be deployed in disasters around the region.

Charles Blanch of New Zealand's Ministry of Health says the tent is the culmination of five years work.

He told Don Wiseman it will allow the country's group of emergency health professionals known as the New Zealand Medical Assistance Team to provide health care in just about any disaster situation.
