There are indications that 'Akilisi Pohiva will return to the Tongan parliament, despite being head of a government whose tenure was cut short a year by the King.

King Tupou VI dissolved parliament in August, forcing elections to be held on November 16, after concerns were raised that the government was acting unconstitutionally and gathering power for itself.
