Demand for level playing field in world rugby league

Mate Ma'a Tonga bowed out of the Rugby League World Cup in controversial circumstances but the team is determined that their efforts result in lasting change for the international game.

The Kingdom was beaten 20-18 by England in their sold out semi final in Auckland, having been denied what appeared to be a match-winning try in the final play of the game.

Head coach Kristian Woolf admits the finish left a sour taste but told Vinnie Wylie the World Cup must be the start of a more level playing field for all rugby league nations.
