Tourism authorities in Solomon Islands say they want more local produce to feature on restaurant menus around the country.

This comes as several government agencies work to develop a policy linking agriculture, tourism and trade.

The marketing manager of the Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau, Freda Unusi, told Koroi Hawkins, tourists often want to taste local food but restaurant menus are dominated by western and Asian cuisine.
