Suspended airport workers in Fiji have been filing back to work this morning after a tribunal order on Saturday.
The Employment Relations Tribunal found their employer Air Terminal Services had not followed due process and gave the company 48 hours to allow the workers to return to their jobs at Nadi airport.
About 200 ground staff, a third of the ATS workforce, were off work for more than a month after the company took issue with a meeting some of them held to discuss concerns about management.
The workers said it was a lock out as the management was demanding they sign letters admitting their action was wrong.
The secretary for the ATS Employees Trust Vili Finau told Sally Round the workers are elated to be going back.
