Cook Islands balancing geopolitical relationships

From , 5:04 am on 17 April 2018

The Cook Islands government is faced with a delicate balancing act in managing its growing links with China while maintaining its relationship with New Zealand

It comes as New Zealand's Labour government recently launched its "Pacific reset" on greater engagement in the region.
