Marshalls poet links climate change and nuke testing impacts

A Marshall Islands poet and climate change advocate is highlighting the connection to nuclear waste and the ongoing impacts on her community.

Kathy Jetñil-Kijiner says read a report recently indicating there are just 30 years left now, before their low lying atolls start to become uninhabitable.

She spoke to Sara Vui-Talitu about three of her favourite poems that discuss the intersection between climate change and nuclear waste and explore themes such as land loss, health problems and what the future is shaping up to be like for their children.
