The Pacific Games Council says its confident Samoa is on track to organising a succesful 16th edition of the games next year.
It was awarded hosting rights just last year after Tonga pulled out citing costs.
Council chief executive Andrew Minogue told Ben Robinson Drawbridge that Samoa has come a long way at short notice.
