Three additional MPs have been sworn in, helping the Cook Islands Party a government by a narrow majority.

The One Cook Islands winning candidate George Maggie and the two independents were sworn in by the Queens Representative on Thursday morning (Cook Islands time).

The Pacific Media Network's Lisa Williams-Lahari spoke with Sara Vui-Talitu from Rarotonga saying that the news came as a surprise to many, but things could still change, given the petitions.
