While the Pacific has in recent weeks welcomed medical ships from both China and the United States, the Youth with a Mission or YWAM medical ships are in Papua New Guinea year round.
Two ships from YWAM'S Townsville base are currently in PNG - one in Bougainville and the other in Morobe.
