The head of a new group in Vanuatu say they are concerned about the increasing number of uncompleted cases filed by the police.

The Campaign for Justice Director says police statistics reveal over the past five years there is a three fold increase in the number of complaints to police in Port Vila and up to seventy per cent of the cases are now going unresolved.

Russel Nari says it is alarming to see more and more cases are being marked 'uncompleted' raising serious questions for victims of crime in Vanuatu seeking justice from the police and courts.

Jenny Meyer asked him what the police have said about his group's concerns.
