Papua New Guinea's polio outbreak claims its first fatality

Papua New Guinea's polio outbreak has claimed its first fatality.

A nine-month-old baby from Enga Province died after the virus paralysed the muscles around its lungs.

14 people have now been confirmed to have the virus, but the World Health Organisation says a nationwide vaccination campaign is showing initial signs of success.
