The Fourth National Climate Assessment, released last month, used Hawaii to illustrate the impact of climate change across the American affiliated Pacific.

The federal report has graphically laid out that the United States, like the rest of the world, is facing catastrophic consequences if measures are not taken to limit temperature rise.

The director of the Pacific Island Ecosystems Research Center, Gordon Tribble, led the writing of the chapter on the Pacific in the Climate Assessment.

Don Wiseman asked him what impact climate change has had to date on Hawaii.
