The head of the Cook Islands climate change office says he is at the UN climate summit in Katowice, Poland to lobby for greater political ambition to battle climate change.
Wayne King is at COP24 and says the recent Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5 degrees has the science community united around a target well below 2 degrees of warming.
Mr King says the goal now is to unite the world's political community.
