Cook Islands raises water project concerns with China and NZ

The Cook Islands has raised concerns with New Zealand and China over shoddy work on the biggest aid project in the country in decades.

Te Mato Vai has been touted as the first tripartite aid project in the Pacific involving China.

But the multi-million dollar water supply system has become mired in a contractual dispute with the Chinese company building it.
