The Marshall Islands is exploring building up its islands, as part of a new national plan for fighting climate change.
The atoll nation, which faces possible extinction from rising sea levels, announced last month it would look at raising its islands to escape.
President Hilda Heine says Marshallese are determined to remain in their country, whatever the cost.
But she told Mackenzie Smith the country is still "in the dark" when it comes to the best option going forward.
