Fiji 2019 Secondary Schools Athletics Finals ran over three days this week at the ANZ Stadium in Suva and continues to be sponsored by Coca Cola.

Also known as the Coke Games, thousands of teen-aged children from schools all over Fiji gather to compete in a range of athletic events.

Among the hype in local media of live streaming sprint races and updating medal tallies, there is also news of significant rises in non communicable diseases in Fiji and healthy lifestyle education initiatives.

The head of the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association, Vuli Waqa, spoke to Jenny Meyer, from the games,  about Cocoa Cola's sponsorship of the event.

She asked him if having Coca Cola continue to fund the games was sending the right message to children about their health.
