From , 3:05 pm on 19 April 2019

The Papua New Guinea MP, Davis Steven, who resigned as justice minister and attorney general yesterday, says the country has to seriously rethink how it goes about government business.

As well as announcing he was resigning to concentrate on his electorate, the Esa'ala MP revealed he has deep concerns with the current state of governance.

His resignation comes a week after the Treasurer James Marape resigned.

Mr Steven told Johnny Blades the rule of law is at stake, with systems and processes that are weak and easily undermined by those in leadership.
