Following Cyclone Pam's destructive passage over Vanuatu on the 14th of March 2015, Radio New Zealand International reporter Koroi Hawkins caught the first possible flight – on a Defence Force Hercules – to Port Vila. He was later joined by Radio New Zealand reporter Kim Baker-Wilson, and the pair reported live from Vanuatu on the aftermath of the cyclone.
Koroi Hawkins has since travelled to a number of Vanuatu islands worst hit by the cyclone. At the end of his two week-assignment he filed this report.
