3:12 Tune Your Engine:

Ad man Matthew Johnstone's career as a creative director took him on a fabulous career path around the world, earning him a clutch of awards on his way. He was a man who appeared to have it all - a great job, an exciting life and yet, for many years, he hid a dark secret. He was suffering from clinical depression. Matthew's depression was all consuming, yet he covered it up and over compensated for it very well. But after witnessing the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York, he decided to own up to his illness, and in the space of one afternoon wrote the best selling book - I Had a Black Dog.
It's a slim volume of 38 cartoon-like drawings about a man whose life is overshadowed by a black labrador, the metaphor for depression made famous by Winston Churchill to describe his struggle with melancholia.
The pictures in the book, drawn by Matthew so successfully illustrated and communicated how his depression felt, that he's employed the same technique in the companion title - Living with a Black Dog, a guide co-written with his wife Ainsley on how to take care of someone with depression while looking after yourself.
