On August 13th, 1904, the All Blacks took to the field on Athletic Park to play the British and Irish team in their very first test on New Zealand soil. No images have ever been seen of that historic test until now. Paul Martin's Grandfather was at that match with a camera that captured images on glass plates. The story about the images was told over the generations in the Martin family. In 2005, Paul discovered the glass-plate negatives. After hours and hours of restorative work, the images of that historic game at Athletic park have come to life.
