Tony Fuemana, best known for his music and documentaries, has just completed his first feature film. The Fuemanas - Tony and the late Pauly and Phillip - are regarded as pioneers of Pacific Music. Tony's new film My Lost Kainga is the first major movie to be filmed in Tonga and in the Tongan language. It is about a young woman who loses her culture, identity and language when she leaves her country.
Michael Armstrong has spent years studying for his law degree but he prefers to do acrobatics in a circus tent to court room antics. The twenty-six-year old ran away to join the circus part way through his law studies. He's part of the small troupe that is Circus Aotearoa, touring the country for six months of the year, living in a caravan and clowning around for a living.
