Strawberries with the Fuhrer is a documentary by Amy O'Connor about the daughter of a Nazi war criminal, living in South Canterbury and trying to come to terms with her family's past.
Helga Tiscenko's father was a general in the Waffen SS, and during his rise in the Nazi party, Helga's family hosted Himmler for dinner and she ate strawberries and ice cream with Hitler. From the isolation of New Zealand, she has spent a lifetime coming to terms with the father she knew, and the crimes he committed.
