2:10 The Dobson Family - Bruce Dobson
Shake the Dobson family tree, and dozens of stories about the South Island's most famous locations and compelling stories come tumbling down. The family boasts connections to the town of Dobson on the West Coast, as well as Arthur's Pass, Lewis Pass, Haast Pass, the Canterbury Museum and the construction of the Lyttleton Tunnel.
There are stories of triumph and tragedy,  one ancestor was  murdered on the West Coast by a notorious band of escaped convicts from Australia.

2:20  The Coro Club - Jim Cross and Mike Grew
They call themselves the Coro Club, not Koru with a K, but Coro with a C as in Coronation Street. And every Tuesday night for the last 6 years, the club meets in a pub in Nelson to get out of watching Coronation Street on the telly with their partners.

2:30 Reading - Motor Pioneers - In our 2.30pm serial, the three motorists attempting to be the first to drive through the King Country, have had to hire a local farmer to accompany them with his team of draft-horses.  They've found that real horse-power is the only way their car can negotiate the boggy clay of the area as they head towards the Whitewhenua road, the North-West passage they have been seeking.

3:35 Auckland story - David Steemson
It's official. Central Auckland's controversial new "shared spaces" where cars and pedestrians have to share the street, are putting more money in the tills of businesses.

4:06 The Panel - On The Panel today are Cas Carter and Steve McCabe. Crimes in NZ get more exotic even as the crime rate goes down; why's that? Men's only clubs - not the Coru Club in Nelson but more entrenched and patriarchal institutions - is there anything wrong with them? What sorts of cats are friendliest? And the huge numbers of consultants in government at such great cost - why do we need them all?
