2:10 New York Fashion Week - Karen Walker - There are more than just shades of grey in New Zealand designer, Karen Walker's New York Fashion week campaign for her 2013 eyewear collection. Instead of using young models to show off her shades, women aged between 65 and 92 are part of Karen's 14th season at New York Fashion week.  She's the only New Zealand based designer there. She's teamed up with a star New York photographer to take pictures of the women in their own homes,  and in their own clothes too.  The results are very special..

It's been the week to remember the brutal reality of medieval battle with the confirmation that the skeleton with a cleaved skull and curved spine found under a Leicester car park is in fact Richard the Third. Anyone who wants to have a go at playing the embattled king will have a chance this weekend at the Tauranga Domain.
The Northern Horde Medieval combat club is giving anyone who wants to suit up in armour and have a go tomorrow morning. They'll be raising money for a trip to the international historic mediaeval battles tournament in France.
