2:10 The Superyacht Training School - Stuart Whitehouse - Working on the High seas has always been an option for boys-and girls-in search of adventure. A few hundred years ago, it was steamships and pleasure cruisers that had most of the jobs going. Now though, it's the superyachts that need crewing. It's a whole new world for landlubbers, working about these floating palaces, for some of the worlds wealthiest people.
But sailors in waiting have a place to learn their craft. They can go to Superyacht school in Nelson!  Stuart Whitehouse is the programme co-ordinator of the Superyacht crewing programme at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.

2:20 The Rose Workers - Stephen Stocks - Everything's coming up roses for Stephen Stocks and his wife Daphne, the hardest working flower growers in Levin. At the age of 70 and 81 respectively, Stephen and Daphne are still passionate about growing their roses, and thanks to their green fingers and elbow grease , their  two thousand square metre section is producing about 400,000 blooms a year. They supply the flowers to commercial florists all over the region.

2:30 Reading - Any belief that Owen Scott might have in omens are given free rein in today's episode of  'Deep Beyond the Reef' -  a personal account of the aftermath of his brother's murder.   The story ranges from an encounter with a comatose parrot,  to the killing of more than 2-thousand 9-hundred people in the 9-11 terrorist attacks. That's Episode 11 of  'Deep Beyond the Reef' at half past 2.
